After much planning – from writing scripts to creating storyboards – the art team began illustrating the final Journey to Hope scenes that were used for animation.
“The process of illustrating started out more exploratory and developmental in the early stages... figuring out how different elements fit into that defined style,” said Mary Vooys, an illustrator for the series.
